Maggie Mitchell is Vice President of Corporate Communications for Advertising & Partnerships at NBCUniversal. In this role, Maggie leads external monetization communications efforts across NBCUniversal’s diverse portfolio of brands and platforms. Prior to her current position, Maggie managed Media Relations at NBCUniversal’s MSNBC, where she drove press strategy for many of the news network’s top-rated programs and special events. Before joining NBCUniversal, Maggie served as Communications Manager for Viacom International, working across several global brands and business units.
Maggie began her public relations career at leading agencies LaunchSquad and DKC, working across a variety of clients from fledgling startups to established global brands. A music aficionado, she also spent time as a music reviewer and blogger.
Maggie was born and raised in Boston and graduated from American University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She and her husband James live in Connecticut with their two dogs.
