Natalie is a leader in strategic communications with 18 years’ consultancy experience. She delivers executive counsel and integrated communications campaigns for domestic and international clients, with particular expertise in the cleantech, energy, fisheries, sustainable business and tourism sectors.
Natalie has responsibility for Weber Shandwick’s full service, multi-award winning Scottish team located across three offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow. She also leads key global clients including Equinor, Calysta and MOWI as well as a number of local accounts, with some of Scotland’s leading businesses among them.
Natalie is passionate about developing people and is particularly focused on equality in the workplace. She is a member of the Scottish Apprenticeship Advisory Board (SAAB) and Chair of its Gender Commission that brings together equality experts, employers, key influencers and representatives from education and aims to offer solutions designed to address any real or perceived barriers to improving gender balance in the workforce. She was Chair of the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) from 2016 until 2019 and was named a PRCA Fellow in 2020.
A regular commentator on the PR sector in Scotland, Natalie often speaks at business and communications industry events and has a raft of awards jury experience.
Prior to joining Weber Shandwick in 2007, Natalie trained and worked as a business journalist before spending four years with a boutique consultancy specialised in renewable energy and aquaculture.
